What.

It's done! The OVAs were a particular pain in the ass because they were huge and the old economy line Dell laptop only has so much computronium. Well, at least it didn't overheat into oblivion, like the last time I tried to play a Flash game. Oh well!

Panzer World Galient (COMPLETE)

This is the full 25-ep series + the 2 compilation OVAs + Crest of Iron, the alternate universe OVA. Enjoy!

Thanks to:

- SRWE, for the raws
- All Galient fans (all three of you, yeah)
- Hy Shaltat, who is a fucking asshole

Maybe I'll go play Muv Luv or something now.

ARE YOU A PANZER BLADE (again!)

*sigh* "Yes, Chururu. Yes I am."

Silently, Jojo prayed for a return to the old ways. Homing pigeons didn't nag you as much.

You are worthless SCUM.

I just watched Birdemic.

This is Angra Mainyu's work.

What part of my brain remains functional is full of hatred for everything and everyone.

And now for something completely different (to the previous entry)

Chururu does not approve. Jojo is too busy looking at Hilmuka's nice, nice body.

I mean, DAMN.

Panzer World Galient - Episode 05 - The Valley Without Gravity

I'll go into HERESY territory and say that, nice as they are, the mecha in Galient are kind of unnecessary. The story is clearly in the mold of planetary romances a la Barsoom - sword and sandal stories where the sandals are replaced by jetpacks, but still. Not that I dislike Galient, which is so toyetically nifty I can't help but love.

DOSE LUNGS

YOU WILL HAVE TO SPEAK LOUDER I CAN'T HEAR YOU OVER OH JESUS CHRIST SOMEONE SHUT HER UP

Panzer World Galient - Episode 04 - After Chururu

Man, this show is fast. Dougram is cool, composed, and takes its time to develop its characters and plot. Galient rollerkicks the plot's ass and has its characters riding flying giant skeletons and whatnot.

Also, Hilmuka's voice makes me feel funny in the pants. *ahem*

Still, the amount of pantyshots is worrying. It's not Agent Aika level but damn, Takahashi, she's ten years old. FFS.

TADAIMA MOTHERFUCKERS

This is where I mention my crazy adventures that kept me from updating the blog and uploading more subs, where I detail the myriad battles against armies of sub ninjae armed with fridge-sized shuriken launchers, where I describe strange, wondrous vistas I had the opportunity to witness in my travels through the Earth.

But then again, I can't do that, since none of that shit happened.

The truth is, I was burned out. Not just on Dougram, but on mecha as a whole. I stopped visiting /m/, I deleted the first Rebuild movie without even watching it once, I ignored Basquash even though I had sworn to follow it. I was tired. College and the fritzed laptop didn't help matters, let me tell you.

But now, some seven months after the last release, I'm here. No Dougram yet, though, but I hope you like what I have brought to you from my journeys.

I can't tell you yet if I'm "back" or not. I don't really know it myself. But here is an apology, in three .mkv files.

And if for some godsforsaken reason you held up hope: thank you.

-----

Enough with the emo bullshit, and let me tell you a story of an age long past:

An age of steel swords!

An age of steel monsters!

An age of manly men!

An age of young heroes!

An age of MANLY MEN

An age of OMG BOOBS

It was the age of the Panzer World!

Panzer World Galient, Episodes 1-3
The Legend Begins
Galient Awakens
The Battle of White Valley

SEED FOR GREAT JUSTICE

So now you know why I was asking about royal titles.

Just so we're clear:

I'm not subbing this. I couldn't possibly handle two anime projects at the same time, and Dougram takes priority. I repeat: I AM NOT SUBBING THIS.

Also: I believe these subs to be quite crappy. I was mostly fucking around, trying to get it done in a day, and guessworked my way through some lines.

Maybe (and that's a giant 'maybe'), in the grim darkness of the far future, I will take up this project. But that won't be any time soon. If you want to see this subbed now, and have the skills to do it, either contact Grey Phantom or get the raws from /rs/ (courtesy of Kasperl)

Alright?

We cool?

Good.

Badass motherfucker? I think so!

The atmosphere is so unlike Dougram, and not just because of the fantasy setting. It's a lot more HIGH ADVENTURE than GRIMDARK, and I like it.
